The kids were eager for Santa to come to the house this year. We had our friends the Bessas Family come over for a little Christmas Eve fun. We drove around Yuba City and looked at all of the lights. Then we came back to the house and watched Joy to the World, had treats with hot cocoa and wassal.
The kids then opened their traditional Christmas Eve gift, PJ's. Reindeer dust from Grandma Taylor was sprinkled on the front lawn. It was a while before the kids would go to sleep. They were pretty hyped up and the sugar load didn't help!
Christmas morning started at 5 a.m. I copied Aunt Summer and got everyone their favorite cold cereal-a true gift since I RARELY buy cereal with sugar in it. It was so fun having Grandma & Grandpa Schiess with us to spend the week. Grandpa took the kids to the levee a couple of times and both played games with the kids and lots of stories were read. WE HAD FUN!!
